if your talented then you can get the things you want when you want it..This person believes that chance opportunities are more important than expertise.
To my way of thinking they need to go together. It's not much use in being lucky to get a job if you do not have the necessary skills to carry out the work.
Just as a qualified brain surgeon can not use his expertise until he finds a hospital with a suitable operating theatre.

if you are lucky then you can be talented also, coz good luck gives you everything & even talents.Luck can beat talent. If your talent is less than that of the one with whom you compete, then your luck is more important than your talent.
Luck, unfortunately, comes and goes, while talent is more dependable.
