Community College loans?

What kind of student loans can you get for community college? Particulary if the degree requires full time admisson into a difficult program such as nursing.

Thanks! You should really do the following things (if you live in the US):

1. Do your taxes (or harass your parents to do thiers if they still claim you) and then fill out a FAFSA. (www.fafsa.ed.gov) Have FAFSA send the results to your community college.

2. Call your local communtity college and make an appointment with a counselor. Ask about what finaicial aid the college offers on top of federal loans. You may qualify due to high gpa, test scores, and a bunch of other different reasons.

3. DO NOT put it off. Once you get started, it is easy to renew everything. The hardest part is in at the start, when you don't know how things work. I delayed for 4 years becuase I was intimidated about having debt and no one in my family had been to college, so I had no idea what to do.

4. If you can't get into the program you want (becuase of waiting lists, etc.) then do your general education requirements- your maths and compostion and whatnot- until you can get in.local hospitals that you will do clinicals at will usually give scholarships, either that or the schools usually have private loans you can get or go to a bank, talk to that finacial aid office at schoolYou should be able to get a Pell grant (if your in NY state probably also Tap). However, check with your financial aid office about what you are eligible for.
